This form of striping is very unique, It's done with foil and a sponge effect to produce a 3D type of stripe that stands out over the painted background. This is but one of Pete's many designs, but you can see that he is a perfectionist.
Once the base coat, using a sponge and carefully selected colors is applied, the area is allowed to dry then it is unmasked. Pete now adds the defining touches, such as the hand painted pinstripe that boarders the newly applied sponged look. This almost makes the whole image "Pop-Out" from the base color of the car, creating the 3D effect that is eye-catching and amazing to look at site.
