TaTEDO Information Staff Participated in one Week Information Packaging Training at SEDC, Goba-Mbezi Juu

It is because of this demand that TaTEDO entrusted Tumaini University to facilitate capacity building training in areas of information capturing, processing, storing, retrieval, access and dissemination.

The training was conducted for four days at the Sustainable Energy Development Centre (SEDC) and attended by information officers from each of TaTEDO departments as well as from its sister organization SEDC.

The training covered various topics on information sharing and packaging including information collection/capturing techniques, information processing, information storage and information dissemination and sharing.

Speaking at the closure of the training TaTEDO Sustainable Energy Information and Communication Manager Mr.  Jensen Shuma urged participants to use the knowledge they gain from the training to increase their efficiency in areas of information and to successfully accomplish their objectives. He reminded participants that information sharing is a key factor for successful implementation of TaTEDO initiatives in modern energy technologies, environment and climate change.
